Thank you to everyone who came out for our first Wildlife Festival. There were several hundred attendees and everyone seemed to have a good time. The presentations and the displays were both interesting and educational. Tundra the wolf was a huge hit as always.

A talented local artist, Lisa Joan displayed her artwork and will donate half of the proceeds to MARS.

The kids had fun entering an art contest with the winning picture going to Luc Samson, 10 years old and honorable mention going to Abby, 8 years old. There was also a contest, “Guess the number of chocolate eggs in the jar” and the winner is Rialee who it just so happens is the same young lady who was kind enough to donate her birthday money at our garage sale.

Thank you to all of the volunteers and staff who helped put this event together. It takes a lot of work but it is so worth it when the outcome is helping wildlife and educating people young and old about the various species, their environment and how to protect it.
