The rescue and rehabilitation work at MARS is crucial for the survival of wildlife in care, but the part of the journey that all look forward to is The Release.
During this Eagle Release, just after the 2011 Campbell River Bald Eagle Festival, Wildlife Centre manager, Maj Birch was joined by MARS volunteer, Kit Wells and the successful bidder of the Raptor Release auctioned off during the Cumberland Rotary Italiano dinner last fall.
