Food Donation Requests (Updated November 2nd, 2024):
- Raw nuts, preferably in the shell (peanuts, walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, etc). Please note: not salted, seasoned, or roasted
- Cuttle bone (these are used by squirrels and big beaked birds like Evening Grosbeaks)
- Eggs (we cook eggs so they are HPAI safe)
- Fish, including frozen whole smelt Freezers full!
- Beef or other red meat or game meat(venison: we can only accept venison if non-lead ammunition was used) Freezers full!
- Human-grade chicken (breasts etc) Due to avian flu, we can’t accept culled chicken or other poultry Freezers full!
- Apples (windfall is fine, but not rotten, please)
- Berries
- Kaytee Exact handfeeding formula
- Dried insects (crickets, mealworms, etc.
Urgent Wish List (November 2nd, 2024)
We urgently need these items to continue caring for sick and injured wildlife
- Facial tissues
- White paper towel
- Dish soap
- Liquid unscented laundry detergent (Tide Pods work well)
- Puppy milk replacer: Esbilac
- Kitten milk replacer: KMR
- Large zip-loc bags

- Sturdy cat trees/condos
- Unscented bleach

Everyday Wish List (October 19th, 2024)
The small things really help, and we are always on the lookout for bits and pieces, odds and ends, such as:
- Linens (see the complete list below.)
- Toilet paper
- Garbage bags (small kitchen bags and large black ones)
- Nitrile or latex exam gloves (size medium)
- Human vitamins or supplements (Vitamin B1, Vitamin D, Vitamin A, Vitamin E capsules, Cod Liver Oil with Vitamin A & D, calcium, etc)
- Pet medications (Metacam, Clindamycin/Antirobe, Clavaseptin, Clavamox, Baytril, etc.)
- Large bird and critter cages (not cracked, broken, or rusted)
- Toddler/pet safe toys
- Stuffed animals (without pellets or beans)
- Any chewable/edible toys for small mammals and birds (available at Featheredaddictions.com)
It is very hard to say no to generous people, but there are just some items we can’t accept! Without your contributions of food, linens, vitamins and cleaning products, we would have to raise thousands of additional dollars. We have limited storage space and some items just don’t benefit our patients
